He is a recipient of the New Jersey State Bar Association Advocacy Award, 2000 and Middlesex County Bar Association Municipal Court Attorney of the Year award in 2006.Mr. Lederman served as the Municipal Prosecutor for the Township of Piscataway, 1984-1986. He is also a member of the Middlesex County Bar Association Member, Co-Chairman, Municipal Court Committee, 1997-2001, New Jersey State Bar Association Member, Chairman, Municipal Court Section, 1998-2001 and American Bar Association; Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey; Monmouth Bar Association, American Trial Lawyer Association, National College for DWI Defense and the Francis Moore Scrambled Egg Society. He has published articles in various professional journals, moderated and spoken at many seminars involving DWI and the Alcotest breath test device. He authors a bimonthly column on Municipal Courts in New Jersey for the New Jersey Law Journal.
